Tales from the Tank: Mutants & Masterminds, The Atomic Think Tank, and Me
I haven't written anything here (well nothing I've published here) for over a year.
In that time, though, I've been doing a LOT of writing, but the vast majority of you haven't been able to access it. Hopefully, this will help to change that.
One of the main things going on in my life is my engagement with the Green Ronin Publishing fan community, especially via their community page, The Atomic Think Tank.
Green Ronin are a company that makes Tabletop Role-Playing Games. My main interest is their superhero RPG, Mutants and Masterminds, created by Steve Kenson, which recently celebrated a successful kickstarter for their upcoming Fourth Edition. They also publish a bunch of games using the AGE (Adventure Game Engine) system, including Modern Age, Fantasy Age, Blue Rose, Cthulhu Awakens, and licensed games based on Dragon Age and The Expanse. I've been a fan of theirs for a long time now. I bought the first edition of M&M way, way back when it first came out, but it wasn't until the second edition that I really got into it, playing several long-running games.
Several years ago, I started posting to the new version of The Atomic Think Tank, and I've posted a stack of articles since then. However, in the interests of sharing what I've been up to, I'll be sharing a bunch of those articles here, so that those with a mind to (who may not want to sign up to the Atomic Think Tank), can take a look if they want.
My goals for the future hopefully include publishing my own work based on Green Ronin's licensing system, so I've been putting quite a bit of effort in on improving the quality of my writing.
Future Articles in this series will be found under the Atomic Think Tank Label here.
